A tragic accident occurred in Turkey’s Cappadocia region, renowned for its colorful hot air balloons, resulting in one fatality.

According to Turkish media, two hot air balloons crashed in Aksaray Province on Sunday morning. Reports indicate that 12 people were injured, and one man died.

Preliminary findings suggest the victim was a 37-year-old hot air balloon pilot, who is suspected of becoming trapped under the balloon’s basket during landing. According to state broadcaster TRT, the passengers were from Indonesia.
