Professor and political analyst Dr. Enver Bytyçi commented on the visit of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, to the United Kingdom.
Bytyçi says that tomorrow Albin Kurti flies to London to meet with David Cameron.
“The British Foreign Minister, Cameron, pledged on January 4 of this year in Pristina that he would be an advocate and defender of the state of Kosovo. I have had and have not the slightest doubt about this,” he says.
He adds that the head of UK diplomacy was in Tirana today and met with Edi Rama.
“One day after this ‘soldiers’ meeting, that is, short and swift, Kurti goes to London. Albin Kurti should prepare for any intrigue from Rama against Kosovo. Because the Prime Minister of Albania leaves no opportunity unused to harm Kosovo and support Serbia,” says Bytyçi.
Furthermore, according to him, if Mr. Kurti sees that any intrigue from Rama is hidden somewhere, he should speak openly with Mr. Cameron.
“He should tell and explain to him that since the first day he came to power, Edi Rama has done everything to undermine the statehood of Kosovo and should enumerate all the pro-Serbian statements and initiatives of the Albanian Prime Minister.”
“I mean that he should not be complexed by the fact that Rama is the Prime Minister of Albania and for this reason, he cannot oppose him in English. When Rama opposes Kosovo and Kurti in English, Italian, and French, the latter has no reason to hold back anymore!” says Professor Enver Bytyçi.
