One of the fugitives who had been on the run since June of last year, when the Kosovo Police conducted an operation in the village of Uglarë in Zubin Potok that resulted in the seizure of weapons and explosive devices, has now been arrested, reports Gazeta Sinjali exclusively.
A whistleblower from the North has informed Sinjali that the person who has been apprehended by the police is Dušan Janković, who is now under police detention.
He was arrested at his home in Zubin Potok, according to the same sources.
Janković is suspected of collaborating with Stefan Spasojević (who was arrested during the June 13, 2024 operation) and Jovan Djukic, who is also being sought by the Kosovo Police.
Sinjali had previously published a photo of Spasojević, who along with Janković and Djukic, possessed and used illegal weapons and other unlawful items.
During the operation conducted in the north, weapons, grenades, radio communications, and various emblems were found and confiscated.
“As a result of the commitment and work of police officers, during a search at the house of the male suspect, the following were found and seized: a long weapon M-48, two hunting rifle cartridges, four mobile phones, one laptop, one M-75 hand grenade (Yugoslav-made), one ‘Baofeng’ radio communication device, and one tactical vest. Meanwhile, at the home of another male suspect, the following were found and confiscated: one pistol with a magazine, ‘Zoraki 917-T,’ one box with four (4) pistol cartridges, one hat with a Serbian emblem, and two emblems with the Serbian flag.”
