Gjergj Dedaj has announced that he had a contact with the Special Chambers of the Kosovo Specialist Court in The Hague. Through a post on Facebook, he emphasized that the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) are innocent and should be brought back home, writes Rks News.

In his post, Dedaj shared details from his phone conversation with officials regarding the security of the court’s witnesses and raised concerns about the misuse and misinterpretation of his statements made before the Court in The Hague in November 2023. He highlighted that some media outlets, journalists, and individuals are deliberately and unlawfully using his words to incite hatred and threats.

In his message, Dedaj reiterated that the KLA fought a clean defensive and liberating war, while accusing the Serbian forces of committing crimes and genocide, also mentioning crimes against his own family.

Dedaj also clarified that during his testimony in The Hague, he expressed his stance that the leaders of the KLA are innocent and should be brought back home, urging security institutions to take the necessary steps to protect them.
