According to sources close to the Greek Prime Minister’s office, Mitsotakis emphasized that Iran should not be equipped with nuclear weapons, but the solution must come through diplomatic dialogue.
He called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the release of hostages, and the unimpeded flow of humanitarian aid, while warning of the danger that the opening of new war fronts poses to the region.
In Athens, an extraordinary meeting of KYSEA (Government Council for Foreign Affairs and Defence) was held to discuss the situation in the region, where Greece’s full readiness was confirmed.
