The Mayor of South Mitrovica and candidate for Prime Minister from PDK, Bedri Hamza, visited the water reservoirs of the regional water supply company “Mitrovica” this morning to assess their condition.
Hamza thanked all those involved in repairing the damage caused to the Ibër-Lepenc canal, the media for their accurate reporting, and the international allies for their swift response to the incident in the north.
“This morning, I visited the reservoirs of the Regional Water Supply Company ‘Mitrovica’ to closely examine their condition.
I would like to thank all the officials working at the site to repair the damage, the citizens for their patience, understanding, and maturity, and the media for their correct reporting. I am grateful to all our international partners for their quick and decisive reactions to the developments in the northern part of the country.
The safety of citizens, the protection of public infrastructure, maintaining order, and restoring normalcy must be absolute priorities for all of us,” wrote Hamza.
