The Speaker of the Albanian Parliament, Elisa Spiropali, condemned the recent attack in Zubin Potok in northern Kosovo as a terrorist act. She stated that the perpetrators and instigators of the attack deserve to be properly punished.
“Terrorist acts aimed at destroying critical infrastructure, such as the water supply system in the Ibër-Lepenc Canal, not only harm essential services for the citizens of Kosovo but also undermine the efforts of the people and institutions of Kosovo for security, development, welfare, dialogue, and peace. These acts damage the climate for understanding and cooperation in the region.”
She added, “The instigators, perpetrators, and those responsible for these actions must face the appropriate punishment. We stand with the institutions of Kosovo and support efforts to restore normality, ensuring peace and security for the citizens of Kosovo and the entire region.”
