On the occasion of Albanian Martyrs’ Day, the leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, attended the inauguration of a memorial monument in Zahaq, Peja, honoring 138 martyrs from the area and all those who died for freedom and national dignity across Albanian lands.

🔹 Haradinaj: “The closer freedom came, the harsher the confrontation with the occupier became.”

He also commemorated the heroic death of Muharrem Vuthaj from Vrella, who fell on May 5, 1999, describing him as a warrior who embodied the highest values of bravery and love for the homeland.

“Freedom on this land is sacred, and it will live as long as we remain faithful to the blood shed for it.”
“The heroism and sacrifice of the Nation’s Martyrs will forever guide our state-building efforts and strengthen the Albanian factor as a guarantor of peace, stability, and development in the region,” Haradinaj declared.
