Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) MP Nasim Hasani has criticized the timing of the Constitutional Court’s ruling, calling it inappropriate just days before the local elections.
Speaking about the current political situation and ongoing efforts to constitute the Assembly, Hasani expressed optimism about reaching a political agreement among the parties.
“The Constitutional Court issued a decision with a 12-day deadline, which started two days ago. Today we will have a group meeting, and we will certainly come out with a position,” he said.
Hasani also criticized the timing of the Court’s decision, arguing that it affects the electoral climate.
“I see it as unfair that the ruling was published just two days before the elections, as it puts all political parties under pressure. But I believe we’ll manage to reach an agreement — if not today, then hopefully by Monday,” he declared.
According to Hasani, if the Assembly is not constituted today, it is likely to happen on Monday.
