Acting President of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, has met with the Acting Head of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Eva Palatova, during which she received reports from the EU Election Expert Mission.
The reports cover the parliamentary elections of 2025 as well as the local elections held in October and November of the same year.
During the meeting, it was noted that these electoral processes demonstrate Kosovo’s democratic maturity. Haxhiu stated that the findings and recommendations included in the reports will be carefully reviewed and responsibly addressed.
She emphasized Kosovo’s commitment to democratic standards, the rule of law, and its European path, while pledging to strengthen electoral processes based on EU recommendations.
