Today, the village of Lluga in Podujeva will host the inauguration of the statue of national hero Afrim Zhitia, alongside the unveiling of the renovated obelisk and surrounding spaces.
The ceremony, organized under the patronage of Mayor Shpejtim Bulliqi, will bring together a wide range of figures, including Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, the former UÇK leader in Macedonia Ali Ahmeti, government ministers, deputies, municipal officials, activists of the national cause, as well as family members and citizens from across Albanian lands.
The inauguration ceremony is scheduled to begin at 12:00 PM in Llugë village, where participants will honor Afrim Zhitia’s legacy and his contribution to the national struggle.
