Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian has issued a stern warning to Israel following the latest wave of Israeli airstrikes targeting Iranian sites.
Speaking after a phone call with the Prime Minister of Iraq, Pezeshkian emphasized that if Israel continues to strike Iranian targets, it should be prepared for an “even harsher and more painful response.”
He also warned that continued escalation could endanger other countries in the region if Israeli aggression does not cease.
The Iranian president called on Islamic nations to take a united and clear stance against what he described as blatant provocation.
“Iran did not start this conflict, but it has responded with resolve,” Pezeshkian declared.
