Former Prime Minister Isa Mustafa has reacted to the passing of Bujar Bukoshi, praising him as a man who never surrendered.
Mustafa wrote that Bukoshi’s contribution “can hardly be measured,” and for that reason, he remains a colossus of Kosovo’s independence.
“Today, I cannot write at length about my Prime Minister and the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Dr. Bujar Bukoshi, who passed away. I have much to say about the man who, in the most difficult times, led the Government in exile, about the man who never surrendered because he was courageous, knowledgeable, just, direct, and as pure as a tear. His contribution can hardly be measured, because he worked in untimely times, where only the idealism for Kosovo’s freedom guided him forward. Bujar was and will remain a colossus of Kosovo’s independence!”
