Israeli government spokesperson Shosh Bedrosian announced an update regarding the fate of hostages.

Following commemorations for IDF soldiers killed in the conflict, Bedrosian stated that the hostages will be released “early Monday morning.”

“We expect all 20 of our living hostages to be released simultaneously,” she added.

The hostages will first be brought from areas of Gaza under Israeli control before being transferred to southern Israel to reunite with their families.

Bedrosian also assured that:

  • If any living hostage requires urgent medical attention, they will be immediately taken to a medical facility.
  • For hostages who were killed during captivity, the entire Israeli nation will ensure proper burials according to Jewish tradition.
