Italian soldiers of KFOR’s Kinetic Battalion have conducted several days of patrols in the municipality of Peja.
This was announced through a post on Facebook, which states that KFOR is working in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo – EULEX, in their respective roles as security responders.
“KFOR continues to implement its mandate – based on United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 from 1999 – to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and to ensure freedom of movement, at all times and impartially,” KFOR said in its statement.
