Italian soldiers from the Regional Command West of KFOR, the NATO-led mission in Kosovo, have conducted a joint drill involving helicopters and crowd control equipment, reports Rks News.
“The exercise aims to improve the procedures for boarding and disembarking from helicopters while wearing Crowd and Riot Control (CRC) equipment. These drills enhance the readiness and operational performance of the units.”
“KFOR continues to fulfill its mandate based on United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 from 1999 to contribute to a safe and stable environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo, as well as to ensure freedom of movement at all times and impartially,” stated KFOR.
