The Regional Command of KFOR – East has announced that, in cooperation with the Kosovo Police, it has increased its patrols in the northern part of Kosovo.
According to the announcement, KFOR continues to contribute to the safety and security of all communities in Kosovo.
“KFOR continues to fulfill its mandate – based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 – to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo, as well as to the freedom of movement, at all times and in an impartial manner. KFOR is the third responder for security, after the Kosovo Police and the EU’s rule of law mission (EULEX),” stated KFOR.
