KFOR Commander Major General Özkan Ulutaş met with General Milan Mojsilović, Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, in Belgrade on Friday.
KFOR said the meeting was the latest engagement between Ulutaş and Mojsilović before the KFOR commander completes his second mandate. It was part of regular communication and interaction between KFOR and the Serbian Armed Forces, which the NATO-led mission described as essential for promoting mutual understanding and cooperation in support of regional stability and all communities in Kosovo.
“Major General Ulutaş and General Mojsilović exchanged views on a range of issues of common interest and concern. On this occasion, Major General Ulutaş thanked General Mojsilović for his constructive cooperation throughout his mandate,” KFOR said.
The meeting comes as part of continued military-to-military communication between KFOR and Serbia on issues related to regional security and stability.
KFOR said it continues to carry out its mandate under United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999, contributing to a safe and secure environment for all people living in Kosovo.
