KFOR Continues Preparations to Maintain a Secure Environment for All Communities in Kosovo

NATO’s mission in Kosovo, KFOR, is continuing its preparations to ensure a secure environment for all communities in Kosovo. Recently, the Tactical Battalion of Reservists conducted drills at the Novosella Camp, focusing on crowd control and riot management.

“KFOR continues to implement its mandate, based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999, to contribute to a safe and stable environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo, ensuring freedom of movement at all times and in an impartial manner. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders,” the statement reads.
