The Western Regional Command of the KFOR mission organized a “Security and Coordination Conference” today at Camp Villaggio Italia.

According to KFOR, representatives from the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), as well as Regional Commanders from the Kosovo Police and Kosovo Border Police, participated in the conference.

“Colonel Rocco Mundo, Commander of the Western Regional Command, opened the session by emphasizing KFOR’s ongoing cooperation with all its counterparts and the importance of coordination between the Kosovo Police, EULEX, and KFOR for maintaining stable security across Kosovo,” the statement reads.

KFOR reiterated that it continues to carry out its mandate – based on the 1999 UN Security Council Resolution – to contribute to a peaceful and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and to ensure freedom of movement at all times.
