NATO-led KFOR (Kosovo Force) has strongly condemned the attack on the water pipeline in Zubin Potok, which has severely impacted water and electricity supplies in northern Kosovo.
In a press release, KFOR emphasized the importance of verifying the facts and ensuring that those responsible are held accountable and brought to justice.
“Since last night, KFOR personnel have been providing security at the water pipeline and surrounding areas; furthermore, KFOR has offered to provide logistical support, explosive ordnance disposal, and engineering assistance to institutions in Kosovo,” the statement reads.
KFOR, in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and EULEX, continues to implement its mandate for maintaining security in Kosovo as a third responder, based on their respective roles.
