The nominee of the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV) for Prime Minister of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, stated that the people expect party leader and acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti to return even stronger in the next elections, following his failure to form a new government.
Speaking before the General Council of Vetëvendosje, after being proposed as Prime Minister, Konjufca said that he accepted the nomination as a responsibility — mainly to ensure that the state budget for the upcoming year can be approved.
“A government without Albin Kurti is the biggest compromise that the Vetëvendosje Movement can make,” Konjufca declared.
During the same meeting, Kurti announced that if the new government secures the required votes in Parliament, he will serve as Minister of Foreign Affairs in the next cabinet.
