Kosovo’s Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, met with German Ambassador to Kosovo Rainer Rudolph to discuss the security situation in Kosovo and the wider region, as well as developments in the defense sector.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the meeting focused on the development of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) and continued cooperation between Kosovo and Germany, particularly in joint training and exercises.
The two officials also discussed opportunities to deepen cooperation in the defense industry and military procurement.
The Ministry said that the cooperation aims to further strengthen the KSF’s capabilities and increase its interoperability with international partners.
Through these efforts, Kosovo seeks to strengthen its role in contributing to peace, security and stability in the region and beyond.
Germany was described as an important and reliable partner in Kosovo’s efforts to build a modern, professional and capable force able to contribute to collective security.
