Serbia has extended the detention of former Kosovo Special Unit police officer, Arbnor Spahiu, by another three months.
His wife, Arieta Spahiu, who visited him a day earlier, shared details about his situation. She stated that she had reached out to the country’s top leaders, but none have responded to her appeals.
“In the beginning, he was not treated well psychologically. They tried to force him to confess to something he did not do. I contacted the President, the Prime Minister, Albulena Haxhiu, and everyone else, but I received no response. We have only received help from the Police, the people, and family members,” she said.
In addition to the psychological and emotional strain caused by the ongoing trial, the family is also facing serious financial difficulties due to high legal expenses.
They are calling on everyone for support to continue their battle for justice.
