The Central Bank of Kosovo (CBK) conducted a raid today at an office where “DUNAV Osiguranje” was operating. The operation, which took place in the northern region of Kosovo, was supported by the Kosovo Police.
The news was confirmed by Veton Elshani, the Deputy Director of the Kosovo Police for the North region, in a statement to KosovaPress.
According to Elshani, the Kosovo Police assisted CBK officials in carrying out a raid at the office of “DUNAV Osiguranje.” After the inspection, a case for “Misuse of Economic Authorizations” was opened in consultation with the Prosecutor.
Additionally, two parallel institutions were shut down today in the north of Mitrovica. During the operation, the Kosovo Police closed the Serbian-run Tax Administration and the “DUNAV Osiguranje” insurance company due to suspicions of operating without a license.
