The Kosovo Police have officially initiated a search operation for Arban Hisari, a 26-year-old man from Prizren, who has been missing since December 24, 2024. This update was confirmed by Shaqir Bytyqi, spokesperson for the Kosovo Police in the Prizren region, in an interview with Telegraf.
According to Bytyqi, the search operation began today, January 11, 2025, at approximately 11:00 AM. The search focuses on the area near “Ura e Shënjtë” along the White Drin River (“Drini i Bardhë”). The Kosovo Police have mobilized a range of teams for the operation, including personnel from the Regional Investigations Department of Prizren, as well as patrol officers from Gjakova.
Additionally, at the request of the Kosovo Police, the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) has joined the operation, contributing their specialized Search and Rescue Team to assist in locating the missing person.
This ongoing search has raised concerns within the local community, as Hisari has now been missing for over two weeks. The authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward as the search continues.
