“SOLIDARITY AND SUPPORT FOR THE INJURED POLICE OFFICERS

The Kosovo Police Union wishes a speedy recovery to the police officers injured in the recent traffic accident. Expressing concern over the incident, the Union is making an urgent call to all state actors to ensure health coverage for Kosovo Police employees.

The Union addresses the Government of Kosovo with a request to take immediate action to ensure health support for the police officers. This request comes as a result of a recent self-accident, in which a police vehicle was involved in an accident, leaving eight police officers injured. Such incidents, which are becoming more frequent, highlight the lack of adequate health coverage for those who face high risks every day in service to the country.

The Union emphasizes that providing full health support for police officers is urgent and necessary, not only for their well-being but also to ensure the efficiency of services provided to citizens.

The issue of health insurance for police officers has been raised for a long time, but until now, the responsible institutions have failed to offer a concrete solution. The Kosovo Police Union remains committed to continuing its engagement for the rights and well-being of its members, calling on the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to give this issue the priority it deserves.

Respectfully, Kosovo Police Union”**
