The Kosovo Security Force and the Kosovo Police continue to be the most trusted institutions among citizens, according to the results of the 2026 WeBalkans Regional Survey.
The published data show that 87.4% of citizens expressed trust in the Kosovo Security Force (FSK), while 85.6% expressed trust in the Kosovo Police, placing both institutions at the top of the list in terms of public confidence.
The Kosovo Police described the findings as a clear indication of the professionalism and dedication of its officers in maintaining public order, security, and the rule of law. According to the institution, citizens’ trust remains the foundation of effective policing and a key factor in strengthening cooperation with the community.
The survey also highlights that citizens of Kosovo continue to view security, the rule of law, and the fight against corruption as among the country’s most important priorities for future development.
In its response, the Kosovo Police reaffirmed its commitment to combating organized crime, corruption, and other criminal activities, while pledging continued investment in professional capacities, transparency, and cooperation with local and international partners.
The institution expressed gratitude for the support of citizens and emphasized that it will continue to serve with integrity and professionalism in the interest of public safety and security.
