Five officers of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK) participated in a Defence Resource Management Course organized by the Canadian Armed Forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina from September 28 to October 4, 2026.

The training was held as part of ongoing cooperation between the FSK and the Canadian military and focused on strengthening participants’ professional knowledge and exchanging experience in key areas of defense management.

During the course, the FSK officers received training in defense resource management, project management, procurement and human resources management. Canadian military practices, methods and experience in these areas were presented, providing an opportunity to identify good practices that could potentially be adapted and applied within the FSK.

The participants also discussed common challenges related to the efficient management of defense resources and exchanged professional experiences with their international counterparts.

During their stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the FSK delegation also visited the Association of Albanians in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where they met with representatives of the Albanian community. The visit provided an opportunity to learn more about the association’s activities and its contribution to maintaining cultural ties and Albanian identity in the country.

The FSK said participation in the training contributes to strengthening the professional capacities of its personnel, exchanging international best practices and further developing cooperation with defense partners.
