The Minister of Defense, Ejup Macedonci, has announced that he has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
“With the Minister of the Armed Forces of the United Kingdom, Mr. Leo Docherty today signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kosovo and the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.”
Macedonci has said that this agreement will further shape the cooperation between the two countries in the field of defense.
“This agreement, which will further shape the excellent bilateral cooperation in the field of defense between our two countries, includes coordination to support the integration of the Republic of Kosovo into NATO, the realization of joint exercises and training, support and training for international operations and military missions, as well as exchange of experiences in other fields.”
Minister Macedonci wrote that “The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kosovo is grateful to the United Kingdom for its unstinting and continuous support in the development of the defense capacities of our country”.
