In a historic milestone for local sports, the Cycling Federation of Kosovo (FÇK) has officially announced that Kosovo will host the Balkan Cycling Union (BCU) Balkan Cycling Championship for the first time in the country’s history.
To kick off the international event, the federation will host an extensive press conference on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The media briefing will be held at the Venus Hotel, located near the Prishtina Mall traffic circle on the outskirts of the capital.
A Major International Sporting Event
The assignment of the BCU Championship to Kosovo is being recognized as one of the most logistically significant and prestigious sporting events ever staged in the country.
The federation confirmed that national cycling teams from 10 different countries will arrive in Kosovo to compete in the tournament.
