Following the 12th failed session for the constitution of the Assembly of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), accused the Vetëvendosje Movement (VV) of abusing constitutional rights and holding the state hostage.

Krasniqi stated that VV is obstructing the formation of the institutions and violating the will of the people. He emphasized that Albulena Haxhiu, as the candidate for Speaker of the Assembly, would fail every time her nomination is put to a vote.

He called for a change in the candidate for Speaker, accusing VV of undermining the democratic process. Krasniqi also mentioned that PDK would discuss LDK’s proposal later in the day.
