The leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Memli Krasniqi, has described the sixth parliamentary deadlock as a hostage-taking of the state. He criticized the situation as irrational and shameful, emphasizing that the entire country is being held back for the personal interests of a single individual.
“It is irrational and shameful that the state of Kosovo is being held hostage for the personal interests of one individual. If there were genuine willingness to find a solution, there has been time and there still is an opportunity. They do not have the numbers to form a government, and the fact that Kurti cannot become prime minister is keeping the state and the people hostage,” Krasniqi stated.
