Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated on Saturday that Western allies of Ukraine must halt weapons deliveries before any ceasefire agreement can be reached.

In an interview with ABC News, Peskov emphasized that continued military aid to Ukraine would give Kyiv a tactical advantage, arguing that such actions would only encourage Ukraine to maintain its mobilization and bring more troops to the front line.

He also stated that Ukraine is not currently ready for immediate negotiations and added that Russian President Vladimir Putin is seeking a peaceful and diplomatic solution to advance the peace process.
