The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, along with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, welcomed KFOR Commander Major General Özkan Ulutaş.
The Prime Minister’s Office announced that the cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and NATO’s mission in Kosovo – KFOR, and the security situation in the country were the topics of discussion.
“The meeting highlighted that regular communication and meetings are in service of better coordination between security institutions,” the statement continued.
The Prime Minister thanked Commander Ulutaş for the good cooperation, for his role and contribution, and that of KFOR, to security and peace.
During the day, President Vjosa Osmani also met with KFOR Commander Major General Özkan Ulutaş, with whom she also discussed recent developments in the field of security.
