Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti welcomed the Head of the Islamic Community of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Husein Kavazović, in a meeting today. Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
One of the key topics was the facilitation of travel between the two countries. Both sides expressed willingness to increase exchanges between their citizens. The meeting also highlighted Kosovo’s decision to unilaterally lift visa requirements for citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, allowing them to travel to Kosovo with just a biometric ID card, in line with the Berlin Process agreement on free movement.
Kurti further emphasized his government’s social support policies, including assistance for women, mothers, children, and investments in education and healthcare. He also informed Kavazović about ongoing restoration projects of Islamic cultural heritage sites in Kosovo, including mosques and other religious landmarks.
