Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has condemned the assassination attempt on former U.S. President Donald Trump.
He wished Trump and the other injured individuals a speedy recovery, and expressed his condolences to the family of the spectator who was killed.
Kurti stated that political disagreements in a democracy should be expressed through peaceful means and resolved through free and fair elections.
“I join other world leaders in condemning the horrific assassination attempt on former U.S. President Donald Trump. I wish him and the other injured individuals a full and speedy recovery, and send my sincere condolences to the family of the slain spectator.
Political disagreements in a democracy should always be expressed through peaceful forms of speech and protest, and resolved through free and fair elections. No exceptions.”
