Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated that the Serbian army, only 30 kilometers from Kosovo’s border, is conducting their main military exercise.
He said they are conducting exercises with kamikaze drones.
He said these exercises are taking place just 3 kilometers from the border with Montenegro and that with these actions, Serbia is showing that it is the main actor in destabilizing efforts in the Western Balkans region.
“30 kilometers from Kosovo’s border in the Pester of Sandzak, their possibly main day of the military exercise called ‘Vihor 2024’ is taking place today with kamikaze drones, and the location where these exercises will be conducted is not only 30 km from Kosovo’s border but also just 3 kilometers from Serbia’s border with Montenegro. This is further evidence that Serbia is the authority, the instance, the factor, the main actor in destabilizing efforts in the Western Balkans region and poses a threat to our Republic, which it does not recognize, but also to the safety of all citizens in our region. The exercise being conducted in the Pester of Sandzak, therefore, presents a threat, while on the other hand, it also presents the greatest air and land pollution in Sandzak,” he said.
The Prime Minister made these statements at the ceremony marking the start of construction work on the Kjeve-Dollc road.
