The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) is set to file a criminal complaint today at 13:15 against former Prime Minister Albin Kurti and several former ministers—now re-elected as deputies—for abuse of official duty and exceeding of authority.

The complaint will be submitted to the Special Prosecution Office in Prishtina.

“Today (Thursday), at 13:15, the Democratic League of Kosovo will file a criminal complaint for abuse of official duty and exceeding of authority against former Prime Minister Kurti and former ministers, who have been re-elected as deputies.
Venue: Special Prosecution, Prishtina,” LDK announced in its statement.

LDK has previously asserted that Albin Kurti and deputies from the Vetëvendosje (VV) Movement are illegally continuing to perform the duties of the prime minister and ministers, even after being elected as members of parliament.

This move represents a significant escalation in political and legal tensions, reflecting ongoing disputes over the legitimacy of executive power following the recent parliamentary reshuffle.
