Lebanese army urges ‘restraint’ in return to southern Lebanon Lebanese Armed Forces have urged residents to exercise “restraint” when returning to villages and towns in southern Lebanon following a ceasefire agreement reached between Israel and Lebanon.

The army emphasized that caution must remain in place until the ceasefire officially takes effect, expected at 22:00 BST (00:00 local time in Lebanon). Even after that, residents are advised to avoid areas still occupied by Israeli forces.

Authorities also warned about the ongoing خطر of unexploded ordnance in the region, highlighting the need for vigilance as civilians begin returning home.
