The leader of the NISMA party, Fatmir Limaj, has stated that despite being dissatisfied with the past four years and having sought change, he is against “red lines” when it comes to coalition formations. Limaj emphasized that as NISMA’s chairman, he interprets the election results directly.

Since the announcement of the election results, Limaj has expressed a readiness to cooperate even with Albin Kurti’s Vetëvendosje Movement. This stance has reportedly strained Limaj’s relationship with Ramush Haradinaj, with whom he ran in the February 9 elections.

As a politician, I read the numbers; the message of the numbers, the will of the citizens, is this, we cannot change it. And Kosovo belongs as much to the one who won the most votes as it does to the one who won the least votes,” Limaj told Top Channel.

He further asserted that one cannot remain uninvolved in political processes, given that there is “no second Kosovo.” Limaj’s comments come amidst the ongoing political deadlock in Kosovo, where the Assembly has failed to constitute despite numerous attempts, highlighting the need for political parties to find common ground
