French President Emmanuel Macron will host a meeting with European leaders on Monday to discuss the ongoing situation in Ukraine, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot has confirmed.

Barrot emphasized that the summit should not be “dramatized,” noting that such high-level discussions occur regularly.

The meeting will bring together leaders from France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, Italy, Spain, and Denmark, with the latter also representing the Baltic and Scandinavian countries.

The summit comes amid increasing concerns over Ukraine’s military situation and the need for continued Western support against Russia’s aggression.
