Albanian MP and former Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja, commented on the upcoming nationwide protest in Tirana scheduled for tomorrow under the slogan “I Am KLA – National Protest.”

Manja said that the protest, called by the veterans of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) and Albanian war veterans, is fully legitimate and deeply justified.

“The veterans have every right granted by God to gather tomorrow in Tirana,” he stated during a live appearance on the show ‘Debat Plus’ on RTV Dukagjini.
“Not only in Tirana,” he added, “but in every square across Europe where the democratic world makes decisions about the fate of Albanians.”

According to Manja, the upcoming protest carries a clear and powerful message:

“In The Hague, with the evidence of executioners, it’s not just Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi, and Rexhep Selimi being tried — it’s the just war of an entire people for freedom and independence. The war of the people of Kosovo is what’s truly on trial.”

Manja went on to denounce the standards used in the ongoing trials, arguing that they “shame not only international justice but the justice systems of all democratic nations.

“You cannot build guilt in that court with fabricated evidence from Belgrade,” Manja declared. “Tomorrow, in Skënderbej Square, we must send a clear message that the commanders being unjustly tried are not alone — behind them stands an entire people, the Albanian nation. Anyone who considers themselves Albanian, regardless of political beliefs, must be there.”
