Two soldiers from the Montenegrin Army (VCG), recently arrested near Deçan in Kosovo, will be suspended and face disciplinary proceedings for failing to inform their superiors about their travel abroad. Rajko Krivokapić and Dragutin Lalatović are accused of violating military regulations by not notifying their commanders about their trip to Kosovo, as required by law.

Under the Law on the Montenegrin Army, soldiers must report any foreign travel to their superiors. The army’s chief of staff, Zoran Lazarević, has requested an official notification from the authorities in Kosovo regarding the arrest in order to initiate a formal disciplinary process. This step follows reports from the media that the two soldiers traveled to Kosovo without proper authorization.

The incident occurred after Krivokapić (34), Lalatović (24), and Marinko Jovanović (24) were arrested near the Visoki Dečani monastery. The three men were reportedly driving a vehicle with the license plate inscription “Kosovo is Serbia.” Following their arrest, the Basic Court in Peć issued a 30-day detention order. The local prosecution has charged them with inciting hatred and intolerance.
