As part of the ongoing police operation codenamed “Free Beach”, law enforcement services in Albania have intensified inspections along the coastline to clear public spaces that had been illegally occupied.
During the action in Neighborhood No. 1 of Durrës, two public areas were cleared, resulting in the seizure of 182 sets of umbrellas and sunbeds.
According to police, two individuals, N.D. (36 years old) and R.H. (70 years old), both residents of Durrës, have been criminally charged for the violation.
Following verification and removal of the illegal equipment, the materials were submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office for further legal proceedings.
