President Vjosa Osmani has extended heartfelt Easter greetings to all Catholic and Orthodox believers, highlighting the significance of this year’s celebration as both traditions mark the holiday on the same day.
In her message, Osmani emphasized that Easter serves as a powerful reminder of hope, strength, and unwavering faith in a better future.
“To all Catholic and Orthodox believers, I wish you a blessed Easter from the heart — peace in your hearts and joy in your homes! This celebration, which this year unites us on a single date, reminds us of strength, hope, and unwavering belief in a brighter tomorrow,” Osmani wrote.
She added that Easter should serve as a moment of reflection, closeness, and love for everyone.
The holiday message comes as Bishop Dodë Gjergji of the Diocese of Prishtina-Prizren also shared words of peace and harmony during the central Easter Mass held at the St. Teresa Cathedral in Prishtina.
