Fate does not seem to be on Armando Broja’s side, as the Albanian striker sustained an injury immediately after returning from a previous one.

In the FA Cup match against Peterborough, the 23-year-old was substituted in, but in the 82nd minute of the game, following a dangerous tackle by the opposing defender, he fell to the ground.

This caused panic among Everton’s medical staff, who, according to English media reports, were forced to administer an oxygen mask to him for a brief moment.

After several minutes, Broja was taken off the field on a stretcher and replaced in the 89th minute of the match. The Albanian striker could not hold back his tears.

This also seems to be bad news for the Albanian National Team and coach Sylvinho, who are now awaiting an update from Everton’s medical staff to see whether Broja will miss enough time to be unavailable for the March fixtures against England and Andorra.
