The leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Memli Krasniqi, called on all citizens to exercise their right to vote in today’s local election runoffs.
Krasniqi expressed confidence that, as in the first round, the voting process would proceed smoothly and in order.
“Today, in all municipalities holding runoffs for mayors, I invite citizens to go out and participate, regardless of their first-round choices. Each voter can play an important role in shaping the direction of their municipality over the next four years. We hope for a high and meaningful turnout that truly reflects the will of the citizens. I also hope that this process goes as smoothly as the first round. A good day for Kosovo, for our municipalities, and I believe we will finally conclude a process that sets the course for the next four years,” Krasniqi said after casting his vote.
