The Kosovo Police conducted a raid on Friday in Prizren, uncovering a cache of drugs, weapons, and ammunition during an operation carried out on a private property.
According to the police report, the search resulted in the seizure of 21.77 grams of marijuana, 25 grams of cocaine, three grinders, one AK-47 rifle, two metal bars, an electroshock device, 251 bullets, and two handguns.
As a result of the operation, five individuals were arrested. Following interrogation, one suspect was detained, while four others were released pending further legal proceedings, police confirmed.
“Police units, acting on the prosecutor’s authorization, searched the property belonging to the suspected Kosovar males, where the aforementioned narcotics and weapons were found and confiscated,” the 24-hour police report stated.
The investigation remains ongoing under the direction of the competent prosecutor’s office.
