Officials from the Trump administration are doubling down on their claims that no classified information was shared in the group of American officials where a journalist was mistakenly added.
After The Atlantic published another series of messages, National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, who created the conversation in the Signal group, responded.
“No locations. No sources or methods. NO WAR PLAN. Foreign partners had already been informed that attacks were imminent. President Trump is protecting America and our interests,” Waltz stated.
The messages released by The Atlantic reveal that officials discussed many specific details of their planned attacks, including the aircraft involved and the exact times they intended to strike.
The officials also shared information regarding the effectiveness of the attacks immediately after they concluded.
